Katie Dorsey, Psy.D.
Owner, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Dorsey is a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado who is approved to provide telehealth services through PSYPACT (see map here: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). She earned her master’s degrees in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. She went on to earn her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver – Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Dorsey also holds a Primary Certificate in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York.
Dr. Dorsey uses an integrated clinical approach with a foundation in REBT. She prioritizes meeting patients where they are and working collaboratively to identify barriers to growth. Treatment is developed around individual needs with interventions from Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Humanistic approaches with a trauma-informed lens. She believes in creating a safe space for genuine interaction and welcomes adults with diverse backgrounds and identities. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her Great Dane, sporting events and concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Van Trease is a psychologist candidate in Colorado working toward licensure. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Forensic Psychology from Texas State University. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Forensic Emphasis from Palo Alto University. Dr. Van Trease uses an integrative. person-centered approach to therapy, meaning that she tailors treatment interventions and plans to each client's specific needs and goals. She values creating a safe and accepting environment for individuals from all backgrounds and considers the client the expert of their own experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing Animal Crossing, and watching sports.
